Initial Review: Omega Cold Press Juicer

In February, 2021 I did a 7 day juice fast only drinking fruits and vegetables I juiced using this machine, the Omega Cold Press Juicer. I ended up losing 17 lbs, 3.4% body fat and noticeably lowering my blood pressure. No food. Only water and fresh juice. While 17 lbs is not to be expected (A good amount of water weight. I DEFINITELY saw and felt results.

“Cold Press” or “Slow Masticating” (same thing) means the fruit and vegetables are juiced slower, keeping more nutrients, giving you more juice, and much quieter a machine. Whereas a “Centrifugal” juicer has faster spinning blades. (Think, less juice, will store for less time, and is louder).

If you can, I absolutely recommend a cold press/slow masticating juicer. This one a top of the line juicer, which goes for $299 on amazon.

If you’re taking those first steps toward juicing and not looking to spend that much, Omega has another model which goes for about half that, only $150, an amazing deal that is the same price as some centrifugal juicers.

For containers, I grabbed a pack of BPA free plastic bottles, each 12 oz. I liked these because they were easy to handle, sealed well with the cap, and the 12 ounces gave me enough to drink a couple of these for each meal and feel somewhat full. They also came in a pack of 12 so for less than $20, I got all I needed.
